Lights of Hope, the free 1/3-mile light walk that features over 300,000 lights, includes other activities that are fun for the whole family to enjoy such as skating , sledding down a slide, inflatables, and much, much more.

Lights of Hope is a family-friendly community-based event that has been going on for four years now. It came out of COVID when the Father’s House Church thought the community could use some lights and hope.

Some of the activities do cost money, ranging from $ 9.00 to $ 200.00. You can book them on the website here.

Outside food or drinks, and pets, are not allowed.

They also operate on volunteers and are still in need of some for such things as helping kids at the sledding hill and inflatables, cleaning and maintenance, and supervising kids at the sledding hill and inflatables.

“We have been going every year since it started, and the kids love it, it’s something to do that is free for the most part, and honestly that’s the best part of it,” said Val and Jessie who live In Oroville.

Come on out if you are in the area and want to do something family-friendly, or community-based. You don’t have to be alone during the holidays.
