Tentative Fall 24 Meetings:
Tuesday, Sept. 3, 6:00 pm to 7:30 pm, Woodstocks Pizza. Opening Social.
Tuesday, Sept. 17: 12:30 – 1:30, main campus Maker Space. Swag Design Party— meet at the Maker Space to design/create stickers and other swag.
Tuesday, Oct. 1: 6:00 pm to 7:30 pm, downtown Chico (place TBA). Food Review Challenge. Divide into teams, eat at a local restaurant and collaborative write a food review. Prizes for funniest, most bizarre, and hippest reviews.
Tuesday, Oct. 15: 12:30 – 1:30, main campus. TBA
Tuesday, November 5, 6:00 pm to 7:30 pm, downtown Chico (place TBA).
Dec. Meeting: Attend Film Club Festival
What happens at the meetings?
- Hang out with creative people producing original content and brainstorm ideas for the college newspaper and companion publications.
- Find your voice—explore different journalistic mediums from print to online.
- Share your work (or not).
- Get published–members of the newspaper production team will guide people through the publication process.
