With the crowd going wild, Usher had an impressive halftime show. Not only putting on multiple hits of his songs,  he also came out with love hits in time for Valentine’s Day. While the first time headlining the Super Bowl halftime show, it was not his first appearance–he made a cameo in 2011 with the Black Eyed Peas where they performed his hit song “OMG!” with Will.I.Am.

Usher used creativity with the backup dancers, including himself in old-school four-wheel rollerblades as they performed alongside acrobats. The surprise move happened when Alicia Keyes came to life after an acrobat cape revealed her playing the piano in an elegant dress. She killed her hit song “If I Don’t Have You” before breaking into “My Boo.” She also covered  Usher’s #1 billboard hit songs “Don’t Have to Call,” “Number One,” “Love in This Club,” and “You Got it Bad.”

His fashion was a little different than most would have expected. Halfway through one of his songs, he thanked his mother then later took off his shirt during one of his songs. Some say that his glittery blue and black space suit looked like a futuristic version of an old-school 1980s Adidas track suit meets Elon Musk.

Of course, with something as big as the Super Bowl LVIII, you always see something spectacular on the stage and this year didn’t disappoint with acrobats, flames and insane lights.
