The Queer Resource Center (QRC) hosted its first free clothing event Tuesday, Oct. 28, at the Campus Center Lounge. Kamil organized the inaugural event.
Many students attended, browsing a variety of donated clothes including shirts, sweaters, pants, shoes, and undergarments for women in need.
The QRC deemed the clothing exchange a success, noting its positive benefit for college students. Due to the favorable response, the QRC plans to hold a second event next semester and is currently accepting donations.
Students wishing to donate clothes and shoes can drop off items at the QRC room instead of discarding them. The next event is scheduled for the upcoming semester.
If you have unwanted clothes, don’t trash them! Donate them to the QRC room for the next event. It’s a great way to clear your closet and help out fellow students.
