Wesley Salimes was originally from rural Wisconsin, but a two week foreign exchange program to Costa Rica in high school was his initiation into an international nomadic lifestyle that he calls his non-traditional academic trajectory. The individuals he meets and the streets he walks are all part of my curriculum. He lived nearly a year in Costa Rica, half a year in Spain, and many other places in between. It is his desire to share with readers anecdotes from my journeys and essays from his reflections in both English and Spanish.
