My name is Sukh Joth Kaur, and I am from Burma. Currently, I am in my second semester at Butte College where I am pursuing a major in Film Television & Electronic Media. My interest into the world of journalism began in my early teen years sparked by a routine of watching the news alongside my father.

Fun Fact about me– I speak four languages fluently: Hindi, English, Punjabi, & Burmese! Music is another love of my life – I play piano and a little bit of drum. I also do watercolor & acrylic painting. I am also taking on the role of an international student ambassador for the international program at Butte College
