Tentative Spring 25 Meetings:

Tuesday, Jan. 28, 4:00-6:00 p.m. at the Chico Center–Opening Social and Game Night

Saturday, Feb. 8, from 9:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.  Field Trip: World’s Worst Expo in Sacramento— space is limited and reserved for active members. Contact Kelly at [email protected] for questions. Photojournalism and interviews.

February Fundraiser at the Golden Beaver with DJ Brenton spinning records. Details to be announced.

Thursday, Feb. 27, main campus: Club Breakfast

Friday, March 28 from 7:00 pm – 9:00 pm: Pageant Movie Night. Review writing tips and tricks.

Tuesday, April 8 from 12:oo pm to 2:00 pm at the Black Box Theater. Film Celebration, Photo Contest Winners and Newspaper Distribution. 

Thursday, May 1 from 4:00 – 6:00 pm Location TBA. Planning Meeting.

What happens at the meetings?

• Hang out with creative people producing original content and brainstorm ideas for the college newspaper and companion publications.
• Find your voice—explore different journalistic mediums from print to online.
• Share your work (or not).
• Get published–members of the newspaper production team will guide people through the publication process.
