Tentative Fall 24 Meetings:

Thursday, Sept. 5, 6:00 pm to 7:30 pm, Woodstocks Pizza. Opening Social.

Thursday, Sept. 19: 12:30 – 1:30, main campus Create Space, Arts 148.  Merch Design Party— meet at the Maker Space to design/create stickers and other swag.

Thursday, Oct. 3: 6:00 pm to 7:30 pm, downtown Chico (place TBA). Food Review Challenge. Divide into teams, eat at a local restaurant and collaboratively write a food review. Prizes for funniest, most bizarre, and hippest reviews.

Thursday, Oct. 17: 12:30 – 1:30, main campus. TBA

Thursday, Nov. 7, 6:00 pm to 7:30 pm, downtown Chico (place TBA).

Dec. Meeting: Attend Film Club Festival

What happens at the meetings?

• Hang out with creative people producing original content and brainstorm ideas for the college newspaper and companion publications.
• Find your voice—explore different journalistic mediums from print to online.
• Share your work (or not).
• Get published–members of the newspaper production team will guide people through the publication process.
