If you’re feeling hopeless with your hair and wishing for a transformation, don’t worry—you’re not alone. Years of heat styling may have left your hair damaged and dried. But don’t be sad. with natural methods, you can bring it back to life and transform it to healthy strong & shiny hair.

Most of you already know that washing your hair properly, using hair masks, and trying expensive brands can help to some extent. But why not fix your hair with natural methods that will not only be effective but also give you long-lasting, healthy results?

The key to healthy, shiny hair is scalp oiling.

This is the most important step in hair care. Natural oils like coconut oil, extra virgin olive oil, almond oil, argan oil, and castor oil have amazing benefits. Castor oil is widely known for its ability to promote hair growth and thickness. For oily scalps, jojoba oil can be a good choice. For the best results, I recommend leaving the oil on overnight and washing it off the next day.

When applying oil, focus on your scalp and gently massage your head for 5–6 minutes. This will improve blood circulation, which will promote new hair growth. It is important to pay extra attention to areas where your scalp is dry. Regular scalp oiling will not only make your hair healthier but also prevent future damage and add shine.

Another amazing hack is to use natural hair masks to improve your hair’s strength and shine. These take a bit of time, but they’re worth it for beautiful, luscious hair:

Aloe Vera Hair Mask: Start by taking an aloe vera plant, cut & open it, and scoop out the gel with a spoon. Blend or mash it with your hands until it’s smooth and not in big chunks. Apply the fresh aloe vera gel to your scalp, roots, and the length of your hair.  For best results leave it on for 1–2 hours and then wash it off. Aloe vera works as a natural conditioner, so you won’t need to use your regular store-bought conditioner. Using this aloe vera hair mask can leave your hair extremely soft, trust me I have been doing it for years and it is one of the best ways to get rid of split ends.

Flaxseed Gel Mask: Boil flaxseeds in water until the texture turns slimy. Strain it through a cloth into a bowl, wait for it to completely cool down and use the gel to coat your scalp and hair. This mask will leave your hair feeling soft and silky, almost like clouds.

Heat styling is one of the biggest causes of hair damage, so try to avoid it whenever you can. If you really want to style your hair, go for heatless curls instead. Avoid tight hairstyles and go for loose ones to prevent breakage. Brush your hair gently, and if it’s too tangled, use your hands to detangle it first before switching to a comb. Wooden combs are a better choice than plastic ones, also it can help with reducing split ends.

Always use a gentle shampoo free of sulfates and phosphates. After washing, apply a small amount of oil, like rosemary or jojoba oil, to your scalp and ends while your hair is still damp. This will help add natural shine, prevent tangling, keep your hair from looking greasy, and will be easy to style.

Focusing on Diet for Hair Growth and Strength

One important step is diet. Hair health isn’t just about what you put on your hair; it’s also about what you put in your body.  A healthy balanced diet rich in essential nutrients plays a major role in hair growth.

Omega-3 Fatty Acids:  This can hydrate your scalp. You can try adding salmon, walnuts, chia seeds, and flaxseeds to your meals, or you can take Omega-3 Fatty Acids vitamins.

Iron: Low iron in your body can cause hair thinning and loss. It can also cause hair to turn white earlier than usual. Try to include spinach, lentils, and nuts & seeds.

Biotin & Zinc: Biotin promotes growth and strength, while zinc repairs damage. You can get biotin easily from eggs, almonds, and sweet potatoes, and zinc from foods like pumpkin seeds, & chickpeas.

Stay Well Hydrate: Drink enough water to keep your hair follicles healthy and promote growth.

By regularly including these foods, and being consistent along with natural hair care, you’ll see a huge improvement in your hair heath.

Anxiety Can Prevent Luscious Locks

On the topic of hair oiling, I talked with Jian Takeshi a college student. He said, “Hair oiling with olive oil saved my hair.”

‘Three or four years ago, Jian developed a habit of plucking hair from his head due to anxiety. “I kept plucking and eventually developed a bald spot. I decided to take matters into my own hands and started oiling my hair regularly. I did deep scalp oiling and tried to add aloe vera in my routine. I would never wash my hair without oiling it first, and it really helped me.”

After six months, Jian noticed a huge improvement. His bald spot was gone and his confidence improved. One thing is just if you want to see improvements and good results you must be consistent with your hair care routine.”

Start your hair care journey today with these natural methods. A huge transformation is waiting for you!
