On August 26 – 27, 2024, Butte College will be hosting it’s bi-annual Welcome Week to celebrate returning and new students to the start of the new semester. The event will take place the main campus at Butte College.
The event will also occur the following day, Tuesday, August 27, from the same time and location.
At the Center Quad area breakfast will be available from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m., and lunch will be offered from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
Students can expect to have a free breakfast, music, grab n’ grab-n-go snack packs, and booths will be set up with all kinds of pamphlets and other information to help you succeed and have the best experience at Butte College.
You can also return for a free lunch; depending on your class schedule, try to go for one or the other.
Some of the booths may have other free things depending on limited supplies.
Don’t be shy come out and get involved whether you are a new or a returning student, make sure you have an amazing college experience you won’t forget or regret. These events are a good opportunity to get out and meet fellow students and other connections that may last a lifetime.
A similar event will be held at the Glenn Center on Wednesday, August 28 from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. and at the Chico Center on Tuesday, September 3 from 10:oo a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
