This Saturday, June 8, Fleet Feet Chico is celebrating Global Running Day by hosting a free 5K run.
The event is made possible due to sponsorships from Brooks Running and Michelob Ultra and it promises to be a fun and energetic morning for all participants.
The run will take place at Fleet Feet Chico, located at 241 Main St., Chico, CA 95928.
Participants will enjoy a pre-routed 5K course that winds through our beautiful town and finishes back at the store, where there will be a lively after-party.
The post-run festivities will include delicious refreshments, donuts from The Nook, coffee from Mockingbird Coffee, music, and more.
Runners of all levels are welcome to join. The run will take off at 9:00 AM, but it’s recommended that you come early for a 15-minute guided pre-run yoga warm-up that will start at 8:40 AM.
To add to the excitement, the first 60 runners to sign up for the run will receive a free shirt, so be sure to register early to snag one of the limited-edition run shirts.
