The drinks were flowing, the crowd was jumping, and the music was blasting during the Blag Flag Concert at Lost on Main Venue in Chico, Ca on April, 13, 2026.

Sunny Acres opened the set up with an electric performance and left the crowd practically begging for more three riffs into the show. Mike Justice could do no wrong with his part on the lead guitar and vocals, each solo preformed came with its own unique energy and theatrics which sent the energy at Chico’s Lost on Main Venue soaring amongst the audience.
Following the set from “Sunny Acres” A.B.P. & The Spites took to the stage. As the fog danced across the stage, the drums roared to life, followed by the rhythmic symphonies of the bass and lead guitar.

With the combination of crowd work, stagecraft, and some bitchin music the audience quickly began to pack the floor. The tempo increased with every new song and the energy in the room became impossible to resist. The bands sets were tight, but the dance floor was packed even tighter, with bodies from wall to wall jumping to the music.

A.B.P. & The Spites have undoubtedly carved out their own niche in the local underground punk scene, blending the energy of The Ramones with vocals and a tempo reminiscent of Blur. It comes as no surprise that A.B.P & The Spites were such a hit with the crowd and garnered many new fans following their set including some members here at The Roadrunner News crew.
Adam’s Audacity took to the stage following the final set from A.B.P. & The Spites with a style that embodied early 2000’s punk. With melodies echoing Greenday, it came as no surprise they became an instant hit with the crowd easily enticing them to jump along with the music.

The legendary Black Flag took to the stage last, the venue was buzzing with anticipation as the performers began to set up their instruments. As the initial strums from the guitars began. The sets were clad in typical Black Flag fashion with raw, explosive energy and gritty vocals. Max Zanelly could do no wrong on the microphone and faced no issues keeping the crowd amped up throughout the entirety of their set. It’s safe to say BlackFlag effortlessly stole the show with their perfect bled of crowd engagement and raw and rebellious vocals.

For those on the fence about getting into the local music scene we over here at The Roadrunner highly recommend going to check out A.B.P. & The Spites at their upcoming show on May, 5, 2026 at The Naked Lounge in Chico for a night to remember!
