Review of “Shaq”

Shaquille O’Neal has not only managed to become an icon of basketball or sports in general, but thanks to his charisma, his forays into the world of rap, or his ventures in TV, has also become a worldwide celebrity.

After the release of “The Last Dance” documentary in 2020, it was only a matter of time before another documentary about another basketball legend was made. HBO was the platform that immediately had this vision, directed by Robert Alexander.

A series of episodes, each lasting slightly less than an hour, reveals details of Shaq’s life, with the participation of his siblings, his father, his stepfather, his mother, his best friends, and other basketball legends.

What makes this documentary series interesting is that each episode resembles Shaq’s personality, meaning they all have the same energy and charisma as the basketball legend. Even if you are not a fan of Shaq, you will find this documentary series quite entertaining.
