If you have interesting books at home, you can even sell them here and give them a new life!
According to Josh Mills, the bookstore employee, “A bookstore is the bedrock of any community, so you want a bookstore in your community’’. He also explains that he couldn’t live in a city without a bookstore: “Supporting local businesses is important. Otherwise, you just end up with two guys running the whole world, which isn’t good.”
Paul, a customer, says: “They have a lot of quality books. I come here to find something interesting. I like to support independent businesses, and this bookstore is more connected with the Chico community than a chain bookstore.”
In my opinion, I think this is a fantastic bookstore. My favorite part was the religion section, which goes beyond just Christian books, and the language section, where I found a very interesting book in Arabic teaching Greek, as well as a book entirely in Russian, one in Latin and many others. Personally, I really enjoy going to bookstores, and I don’t think I’ve ever come across such a diverse collection of books before.
