On Wednesday, October 16, 2024, the Butte College’s Board of Trustees held their second meeting of the Fall 2024 semester, featuring new information on several ongoing contracts for the school.
Liam Eller, our Student Trustee, has provided another wonderful report to keep us posted on the current discussions regarding school matters, after participating in the meeting.
Most importantly, the Board has approved a contract to donate old surplus electronic equipment, purchasing up-to-date machinery, along “licensing due to new emission regulations.”
They have also passed approval on the employment of the Student Services’ vice president. Eller also noted that he’s currently working on a survey to collect feedback on further improvement to the current bus schedule and routes.
This marks another interesting update on this Board of Trustees meeting and we look forward to our Trustee’s report after next month’s meeting on November 13, 2024.
