Just a peach of a time is happening in Historic Downtown Marysville July 19-20 for the 24th annual peach festival. Come to the historic downtown Marysville and bring family and friends to enjoy everything peachy.
Make a day trip, staycation, or stay the weekend for the two-day event on July 19 from 4 pm to 10 pm and July 20 from 10 am to 10 pm. There will be over 150 vendors, live music from two entertainment stages, a pie eating contest, and register for a 5k run that will benefit Lindhurst High School the cost is 20-25 preregister and 30-35 at the gate register starting fee, enter a free 1st annual bed race with cash prizes, peach festival award ceremony, enjoy the historic downtown and visit some of the local businesses, and have the little kids see the children area.
The festival is held on the third weekend of July every year, with more than 20,000 people attending the event every year, according to the Marysville Peach Festival website. Many sponsors are coming together to make this event happen, including Del Monte, Wild Seed Wellness, Pacific Coast Producers, and Power 95.5, to list a few.
Peaches are one of Yuba-Sutter’s top 10 commodities, the weather in Northern California Valley makes for the perfect conditions to grow the delicious mouth-watering sweet fruit.
