Last Tuesday, October 28, the “Know Your Rights” webinar was held, organized by the UndocuCenter and presented by Adhemir Romero, a representative from Immigrant Legal Defense.

The event was conducted virtually via Zoom and aimed to inform immigrants about their rights if detained by ICE, whether during a raid or if agents come to their homes.

These types of events are held regularly, so it is recommended to stay updated through the UndocuCenter’s announcements to learn about upcoming webinars and topics.

In addition, Immigrant Legal Defense offers free legal consultations with immigration attorneys for Butte College students and workers. Those interested in scheduling an appointment can do so here.
