Tentative Fall 24 Meetings:
Tuesday, Sept. 3, 6:00 pm to 7:30 pm, Woodstocks Pizza. Opening Social.
Tuesday, Sept. 17: 12:30 – 1:30, main campus Maker Space. Swag Design Party— meet at the Maker Space to design/create stickers and other swag.
Tuesday, Oct. 1: 6:00 pm to 7:30 pm, downtown Chico (place TBA). Food Review Challenge. Divide into teams, eat at a local restaurant and collaborative write a food review. Prizes for funniest, most bizarre, and hippest reviews.
Tuesday, Oct. 15: 12:30 – 1:30, main campus. TBA
Tuesday, November 5, 6:00 pm to 7:30 pm, downtown Chico (place TBA).
Dec. Meeting: Attend Film Club Festival
What happens at the meetings?
Hang out with creative people producing original content and brainstorm ideas for the college newspaper and companion publications.
Find your voice—explore different journalistic mediums from print to online.
Share your work (or not).
Get published–members of the newspaper production team will guide people through the publication process.
